August Gallery is the personal website of the artist Peter Paul McNally.

Please access the expanding images in The Gallery to see examples of the artist’s drawings and paintings, most of which have been produced after the year 2000, with additional earlier works.  The gallery shows oil paintings and watercolours together with drawings in the medium of pencil, conté, pen and ink.

 The gallery best represents the artist’s style and output, but is not exhaustive. The artist is not limited by genre; landscape, still life, interiors, portraits are all represented. The artist works primarily from observation but is not constrained by the motif – the subject is manipulated and adjusted to maximise and enhance the appearance of the subject which the artist feels to be compatible with his personal requirement for that subject.

 Unless specifically denoted by `NFS` all works exhibited are for sale. Where a painting/drawing is already framed the price can include the frame.

All drawings in the gallery are framed. Dimensions of the works will be referenced, each painting/drawing will be code/number referenced and titled.
